Inspired by Star Wars, A Saber Wall Light is based on the WizFi360-EVB-Pico by WIZnet. A Raspberry PI Pico or RP2040 and Wifi board. In this video blog I create a wall light with IoT (MQTT) control. Colour and animation can be configured over MQTT. The light also notifies peers of the turn-on and off, so they can come on together.
Code, Schematics and 3D Models for the project can be found on GitHub.
To learn more about the techniques I used check out my Udemy courses on:
- Dev Env for Raspberry PI PIco C/C++:
- Raspberry PI PICO Micro Projects (C++)
- FreeRTOS on Raspberry PI PICO
Sound effects are used in the video only, I have not yet given the sound capability to a Pico. Sound effect from Pixabay. Thanks to Pip, Arnaljl, and Joe93Barlow
