Badger2040 is an RP2040 board from PIMORONI. Probably one of the most interesting boards after the original Raspberry PI Pico and Pico-W. It combines the power of the RP2040 with an E-Ink display in an ID badge format.
I take a look at the Badger2040 in this video and explore a number of example programmes in C++ using the PIMORONI libraries. I look at how to:
- Display images on the board. I am able to go from PowerPoint slides to graphics on the board very easily
- Writting text using fonts
- Drawing primitives and drawing a Clock face
- Sleeping the device to reduce power consumption down to 2uAmps!
All of the examples I show in the video and more are included in a GitHub repo.
Let me know what you think of the Badger2040 and how you would use it.
