Saturday 14 March is, of course, Pi Day (3.14), and this year I’m doing something completely different on the livestream: a Live Build over on my channel.
But this won’t be a Blue Peter–style “here’s one I made earlier” situation. It’s not even a rebuild of a project I’ve already done. This is going to be a start-with-an-idea-and-see-where-it-goes kind of day. No script, no safety net—just making, experimenting, and seeing what I can create in real time.
đź•’ How long will I be live?
Good question. I’m not planning to stay on camera continuously all day—that would get dull for everyone while I’m deep in the build and not talking. Instead, I’ll check in every couple of hours with updates, show progress, and share what I’m planning to tackle next. Think of it as a rolling maker diary throughout the day.
🤖 So… what am I building?
Here’s what I can reveal:
- It’s inspired by a sci‑fi series
- It’s powered by a Pico 2 W
- It will feature plenty of WS2812B LEDs
- It might even include sound
If you want to know exactly what the project is, you’ll have to tune in at 10am GMT on Saturday 14 March and watch it unfold live.
See you then!
